A transient (tourist) using the library gripes that transients use the library.
Assuming he means homeless people when he says transients, it's odd to gripe that locals who need their library far more than him are using it.

It's such a shame waffle House only sells - no French toast, no pancakes.

When the bar starts playing Billy Ray Cyrus: Well I guess it's my time to go.

The first thing I ate this year was the expired "stuck in a road closure" protein bar I keep in my car because it took over an hour to get out of the gateway's parking garage.

A year ago the laundry subreddit was terrible, full of bad advice.
This guy has single handedly converted it to a place full of great advice, and he even has laundry themed commentary on fragile masculinity!

I've heard his name for so long, and know so little about the NBA that I was actually a little surprised he's still playing when I saw this. I would've guessed he was retired.
LeBron James put up eight points in the Lakers 123-120 win over the Raptors.

It's the first time since 2007 he hasn't reached 10 points in a regular season game.

What could possibly go wrong if you buy #botox on the internet & inject it at home yourself? PLENTY, it turns out. Three people from NY, WI & TX were hospitalized for 3-6 days. One required mechanical ventilation. Don't try this at home!
Reported in #CDC's #MMWR.

The nickname for University of Tennessee teams/students is "volunteers" as in you'd yell "go volunteers".
That's probably the worst name I've heard, and I just came from Chapel Hill where the UNC Tar Heels should be in the competition for worst name but they're not even in the same league.

It's 1 am in this college town and 2 cars playing john Mayer just pulled into this parking garage and 2 college aged guys with pillows got into the trunk/cargo area of one of the cars and they drove off

At some point I'm probably gonna start wondering if I don't understand my nieces and nephews because I don't know their references anymore or if I don't understand them because I need hearing aids

After I ordered an entree, the waiter asked if I wanted an order of quac "for the table" as if I wasn't the only person at the table. But yes, I do

My nephews have been here 38 hours, and the usual sleep deprivation from staying up with them started immediately.
I've only gotten 4 hours and 5 minutes of sleep (which was at 4 am) in those 38 hours.

#CDC reports the confirmed #measles count in the country so far this year has hit 1,288, the highest single year total since 1992 — and the highest since measles was declared eliminated in the US in 2000. www.statnews.com/2025/07/09/m...

This is the stupidest response to someone letting you know you're violating health recommendations.

I'm fine because of my sample size of 1, study duration of months, and outcome measurements of 0.

Just thinking of the 3 people I've backpacked with who've had 60 - 70 pound bags with canned food. It must have been so painful that I almost feel bad for them

I've always hated the term "six figures" because it's so vague that it's kinda useless. Use 2 more words and provide a much smaller, more usable range.
