Just a reminder that we have MORE THAN ENOUGH in this country if we all share. We are all worthy of basic dignity and respect, and OUR country is rich enough to do something about it. OUR government is actively choosing not to- actively choosing to harm our most vulnerable. Wtaf.

When I decided to start a fantasy worldbuilding project I was faced with the challenge of learning to draw environments. As a character artist this was way out of my comfort zone. I still have a lot to learn, but just making them exist is half the battle! You can make it good later!

Just imagine if we put as many resources towards reducing gun violence in this country as the current admin is putting towards immigration

Lesson 1: DO NOT OBEY IN ADVANCE

“Most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, & then offer themselves without being asked. A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do.”

Am I the only one who notices that big tech releases & updates always seem to happen during mercury retrograde? Someone gotta tell these people

It’s kind of wild that we select leaders through a competition based on popularity and wealth, and then expect the winner to look out for our best interests.

Controversial take here, so trying to be clear but I fully understand some people might get this twisted.

Boomers fucked up raising millennial men- they were shielded from emotional responsibility and now, as adults, they don't know how to handle it.

90° and 80% humidity means I break out this quote repeatedly:

"What are we doing up here, Scully? It's hotter than hell."

ChatGPT needs to learn how to ask clarifying questions. If we can teach chatbots to consistently do that I feel like we’d reduce hallucinations significantly.

Random idea, possibly trash idk yet, what if we just sent everyone in America a garden/food growing starter kit? Or provided funds for that? We would start being able to feed ourselves and less dependent on broken systems. Maybe?

We need to build community resilience and support systems. It’s abundantly clear that existing systems are not designed to help. People need to realize this- we are on our own, we need to build the systems that we are asking for.

Rather than despairing, I cleaned and stocked the community fridge today. It was pretty empty, which means it saw a lot of use since I checked last week.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
