The kid wanted to take a lap of the reference library because he thought the building was cool. Proud dad moment.

Not even at the car show yet, but a Traction Avant will be hard to top.

For everything else wrong with the internet, being able to watch strangers fix things and work through steps that aren't in a repair manual is still pretty great.

Years ago, I drove Eric Lindros's Chevy Tahoe to drop it off at his house after a service appointment. I don't follow hockey in the slightest, but he was pleasant in the 10 seconds it took to hand off the keys.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

I feel about the Repsol CBR125R like Homestar Runner feels about Lil' Brudder, although with less crying. He's got the heart of a champion!

Somewhere, I still have the city mapbook I used when doing pizza delivery (which, within a few months I mostly didn't need, because grid city).

I don't know if I'd go to the effort of importing a non-Busso Alfa, but on the other hand, they have an Alfa and I don't.

For someone who took French until Grade 10, it took me way too long to figure out why Ford called their world car the Mondeo.

TIL Ford was also working on cylinder deactivation in the late 70's.

I know why there's so much use of the termini stations, but is that normal compared to other lines/systems?

It's filthy, hasn't been run in 10 years, and there's a growing list of things that'd probably have to be done before getting it on the road, but the engine isn't seized, so I'll take the little victories.

Either from the light or lack of coffee, I read the badge on the back as STEPHEN. There's a Mazda Carol, why couldn't there be a Honda STEPHEN?

Underwhelming as the new Micra is, borrowing the styling from a bulgy hot hatch concept, and being based on a Renault with a bulgy hot hatch variant on the way, well, they've already done most of the work, so just follow through?

Late to this, but I both love that whoever chose the vehicles for the CMHC renders tailored their choices to the region (trucks for the prairies, cheaper stuff out east), and also got a Nissan Skyline and Renault LeCar in a government release.

Just reported a fake LinkedIn email to my work account as phishing (my dormant account is linked to my personal email), but I should start reporting their weirder legit emails as phishing, too. My PFP is 16 years old, I am very much not "on a roll," LinkedIn.
