You can see their heartbreak. We all can only hope for love like theirs.

Not a baseball fan, but Bob Uecker was a national treasure. Rest in peace.

Coach Flus might have to catch a commercial flight back to Chicago. I have no idea what just happened at the end of that game.

I am very disappointed that the Bears lost again. It was a great effort. I'm not about blowing up everything and starting over. Ryan Poles has built up a roster that can compete against the best teams in the league. Coach Flus hasn't done enough to stay though, got to win some of those games.

Just watched another news report on #AssistedDying. But it was this comment that I’d like to explore: “Palliative Care needs to be improved”. Does palliative care need improvement? Or is it about equitable access to well funded and well resourced palliative care services? #PalliativeCare #HPM #HAPC

The longer I'm alive the more I realize how essential grieving is. If you don't do it, you can't move on. If you can't move on, you're stuck. If you're stuck, you're miserable.

There's so much to grieve: people, relationships, projects, times, ideas... and then you can try new ones!

Understanding someone's situation can be difficult. You often don't know what they are really going through and what parts of their history are impacting their current struggles. Ask questions with a spirit of curiosity, empathize with their situation, and be present for them.

That was a crushing loss. Tough fought game, great effort by the Packers special teams at the end. #Beardown

The Chicago Bears scored a touchdown today! An improvement from the prior weeks.

Another great Saturday down, lots of MTG Foundations drsfting. Draft environment seems ok, high removal counts have been my best decks so far.

Grief can be a powerful emotion and affects everyone differently. You can grieve about things in the past or things that haven't happened yet. Your emotions are valid understandable. Face them, talk about them, and don't allow them to control your life. You are not weak for talking about emotions.

Palliative and hospice care message for the day. If you (or family)are facing a serious, life limiting illness, talk to your physician about options. Taking every medication and treatment isn't always the right answer. Balance medical treatments with patient goals.

This is Stormageddon, dark lord of all. He enjoys sleeping on pillows and 2nd breakfast. He pretends to be an aloof loner but loves his pets and chin scratches.

This is Poe, he is being a sad boy after going to the groomer today.

The Bears fired Shane Waldron. Because if there’s anything they’ve learned during their extensive history of developing quarterbacks, it’s that they do especially well when they’re forced to learn a new offense within the first year of their pro career.
