I’m not sure if this is true or not, but aren’t statues sculpted/cast and buildings named after notable dead people?

My first arena gig in 39 years to see Wolf Alice. I prefer smaller, more intimate gigs. I can’t believe the price drinks here.£9.25 for a pint of Madri. Outrageous!

Got to say that the #Bolt service is awful. They offer discounts, but no drivers pick up. They offer low fares and drivers turn up on the wrong side of the road and drive off before you are able to cross the road to you. So unreliable.

I don't want to see the BBC gone.

I want it to become what it was before the Tories turned it into their very own propaganda machine, supporting both the Tories and Reform,UK above all and any other Political Party.

The lead singer of Living in a Box, who released the single Living in a Box, has died. I wonder where he is now.

Talk Talk 'Spirit of Eden'

Mark Hollis sings like he’s searching for meaning inside the quiet. “I Believe in You” still sounds like a prayer whispered in the dark.
Not an album you play, an album you let happen to you. Years on, it still feels infinite.
Pure transcendence.

The Google Pixel 10 advert annoys me. The apps are fairly the same on Apple and Android phones and other apps are available, so why the “look we are different” stance?

Is there an Irish version of Last Time I Seen The Sun? With a simple arrangement it could be a Parting Glass for the modern age. #speirgorm

I hate burgers in brioche buns. My chicken thigh burger has completely collapsed while picking it up.

A pox on the head of whoever decide that this weak bread was a good idea, and a pox on any other chefs that decided it was worth replicating. #FirstWorldProblems

Is it only me, but is the piano piece at the end of Layla self-indulgent tosh at odds with the rest of the track?

I went to see the Birmingham, UK, band The Clause at The Hare and Hounds last night. I was very impressed. They have an album out on Friday. Should be worth a listen.

The support was from another Birmingham band, The Ansells. Equally, as good. Check them both out where lever you stream.

I went to a very loose, very fun, open mic evening.

I got up and sang Wonder Wall, and High and Dry.

Sang may not be the right description, but the evening was so much craic.

I’ve just been to the cinema to watch the film I Swear. A true story. Funny, sad and educational.

No one would leave the cinema until the lights came up. Thank the lawd I brought a tissue with me.

I watched the Lorraine Nash and Dan Sealey, (ex-OCS), tour tonight, two days on the bounce. Two artists thrown together for a tour by their agent.

Two different styles, but it worked so well as they’ve built up a friendship that is very evident on stage, and duets inevitable.

Both greats nights.

Watching the BBC “Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue”. Episode 5 has a very badly lit/cgi scene. Looks awful!

Early morning drive to Manchester on little sleep.

Amazingly wide awake, and the traffic was good. Will catch some zzz’s on the plane.
