Reader of many things, writer of 1920s romance.
Prepare to have your Gen X mind blown: in Sweden never put two spaces after a period. Even back in the dawn of time when all we had were typewriters and I learned to type, one space was the norm.

I want to like Bluesy, I really do, but it's really hard to find people to follow. It's like I'm in a little bubble with zero interaction.

Doing research and stumbled over Circleville, Ohio, where one of the early prominent families were unfortunately named Hitler, with one especially unlucky member in the 19th century being a dentist called Dr. Gay Hitler.

It’s either a hoax or truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

Somehow, I have started watching videos with guys tending to cows’ feet on FB and now I know way too much about hooves.

Me at 7.30 am: “It’s so weird; it feels like I’ve been up for hours already!”
Also me: got up at 4.30 am so I have literally actually been up for hours. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Now I am back to plotting my rom com about a cowboy movie star in Hollywood in 1924.

Holler if you can think of comps. It’s not a crowded subgenre.

I tried watching 1883 and people in it dropped like flies to the point where it was getting almost slapstick-y funny. Also peeved by the underlying assumption that Europeans in 19th century were childlike and lacked basic survival instincts and common sense, unlike the wise Americans.

Last night I had the weirdest dream. There was no plot. It was all just REM songs.
Yes, that’s right. I dreamed entirely in “REMs greatest hits.”

So, I’ve taken up digital drawing. It’s been decades since I last did any art so it’s a little messy. I’ve always enjoyed drawing people most, so I’ve mostly been fiddling with that. Plenty of bare chests, obviously, because I am a romance writer, after all.

Goodreads randos: This historical novel about people having kinky sex or talking about sex is so implausible, nobody olden days did that.

The written-in-1891 novel I am reading: lengthy dialogue stretch about demons having extra-long bifurcated dicks for double penetration.

There are two kinds of Christmas gift wrappers — those whose wrapped gifts belong on Pinterest, and people like me, who make the recipients go ”Oh, how sweet! You let the dog help this year!”

Just realized that Ohio is not next to Kansas anywhere except in my mind, but there, it definitely is no matter what I try to tell myself.
