On point and entertaining piece highlighting the remarkable dumbness of the Season 2 of “The Apprentice: White House”.

Hat tip for the Mr. Bungle reference.

Doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results.

Seems ‘America First-ism’ is not immune to foreign policy insanity in DC.
If the United States joins Israel’s fight to try to finish Israel’s job, it will enter into a war of unknowable scope against a country of 90 million people in a region of marginal strategic significance.

Ernst is amazingly bad at this PR stuff. This is the most cringe-worthy thing since Kristi Noem’s series of DHS officer cosplay stunts. This would’ve been hilarious as a bit in Veep or Parks and Rec.
Absolutely bonkers — Joni Ernst doubles down on her “we are all gonna die” defense of Medicaid cuts while walking through a cemetery

The biblical God is a sloppy manufacturer. He's not good at design, he's not good at execution. He'd be out of business, if there was any competition.

This post is beyond absolutely disgusting. Shame on whoever approved this crap, making NOAA into a gaslighting stooge for planet-destroying industries and billionaires.

Please report this NOAA post to bsky for spreading misinformation.

These minerals are currently sitting atop the sea floor, waiting to be scooped up and processed. Through #NOAA’s mapping tech and licensing abilities, we are helping industry leaders find, collect and bring back these minerals to benefit the #USA & domestic manufacturing.

Your 'doom quote' for today:

"If you’re younger than sixty, you have a good chance of witnessing the radical destabilization of life on earth—massive crop failures, apocalyptic fires, imploding economies, epic flooding, hundreds of millions of refugees..."

This speech, by a US Admiral, provides a fascinating perspective from over half a century ago. Unspoken yet hinted at is the inevitability of the collapse of civilization.
