Wow, has this podcast been extremely consequential for me. It's covered my whole life now (I'm 31), and helped me think through some big formative life events by talking about the pop culture and minutiae surrounding it.

While this line floored me, love as resistance is a lot more powerful when love motivates you to take action. Love, when it is just words, cannot feed the hungry. Love is cooking the meal, building the home, tearing down walls; love is liberation to the oppressed and the abolition of the oppressor.

If I recall my lore for Fergusons Cove correctly, that was because it was where all the Fergusons lived, so it was initially descriptive, whereas McNabs *was* possessive because it was granted to Peter McNab. (But I could be mixing up my coves)
