There’s not enough time in the day to spend with that many albums to give definitive reviews. But more than that, I just generally don’t agree with him. He has Rage Against the Machine’s debut as a top 5 album fer heaven’s sake.

He has piloted a route to become the most famous music critic on the planet. That his fan base takes him way too seriously is probably not his fault. Christgau never had the power of YouTube. That said, I feel he tries to speak expertly about every genre and there’s no way he can listen to it…
