I hate everything about this. This was such a cool place. Des Moines isn’t really big enough to be able to afford to lose a venue of any size. Saw Jeffrey Lewis here twice among a few other fantastic shows.

The two takeaways the news didn’t get right from what I have heard on social media is that 1- dude is a POS and a Nazi who has a jail record and people he employed say he didn’t pay them what he promised. He regularly posts anti-Semitic content Also the bar owner didn’t react as quickly as he claims

This is an all time great video though I never could quite buy that Trent looked scarier than David. I feel like he would have crapped his pants if David turned around and confronted his Travis Bickle looking mug.

There’s many reasons I hate Fantano but number one on the list is that he said the Humpers’ “Live Forever or Die Trying” is “all skips”. (To be fair, I think he is just judging ii off song titles as a joke)

A quick search will tell you that Ottumwa has bigger problems (jobs, hospital services) than “non traditional marriage” but why not have a parade, which I hope means they shun anyone who gets a divorce. Ok it’s too dumb for even me to make jokes about “trad” aholes. Be more like Duane here
