1) Did that look like a motivated/hungry team in the first 20 minutes. Did that look like a team fighting for each other and their season
2) I don't care whats worked in the past, something is not working now. You can't keep using the same systems (special teams especially) thats not working.

Meaningless words from a group that has done 0 action. "Gut Feeling" is it also your gut feeling to continue running a hapless powerplay, keep 24 at in the middle until tonight, and whatever other things.

We're seeing this issue with him for alot of the all year stats also. This is every player whos skated at least 20 min with 24 all season so far (ignore Charlie). Thats 13 players. 9 out of 13 have better xGF% away from 24. Now granted 24 has a few better xGs away from some, but ~75% are better w/o

I feel like I'm Billy Beane in Moneyball anytime i'm reading other Caps fans try to diagnose the problems of this team. Only 1 of the position groups are in the top 10 of age for the NHL (and thats the Defensemen tied at 10th). Neither the F's (which includes Ovi) or the goalies are.
