It is time boys and girlies, for my first time on bluesky 2025-26 NHL Season Preview. On the old site before each season I used to post my annual projections and add some commentary going into each new NHL Season. Now that this is my new digs, we shall be doing this annually here.
The Man after losing on PPV said "We still in the regular season, yall can't win in the playoffs" after tapping on one of the flagship PPVs for the promotion.

Team is in WC1 right now, they should be close enough to the playoff spot that the crashout thread scenario probably wont have to come to pass for a team not in a spot come Thanksgiving.

What I liked:
- The Pro-Sourdif-Wilson line
- Jakob Chychruns continuing fabulous year.
- LT bouncing back.
What I didn't like:
- The 4th Line
- Could have been slightly tighter defensively
- Going back to the old PP unit on the 5 on 3, when the unit looked decent with the change.

Bad defense by Chisoolm, bad rebound by LT. Theres the 1 it always seems like he allows to avoid getting an SO.

If this team at any point gets the special teams worked out this year (QUESTIONABLE!) they are one of the best teams in the east.

Only real negative tonight is the Milano-Lappy-Frank line hasn't been great tonight, but every other line been good to great.

He's going to be a 3rd/4th line center for us for a bit. Strong defensively, I think he's got decent offensive instinct (wont be a 50 pt guy, but he's improving the more exprience he gets), and can help control play. You see what they saw in him.
Sourdif has two assists tonight for the first multi-point game of his career.
He has one goal, three assists in his past four games.
