I am getting a bit older so I didn't want to climb to the top. But I did enjoy getting rid of the cloth thingy to sit underneath the tree. 😺

We don't think Santa will stop at our house so we told our mum to treat herself to a Christmaspresent. A book or something. With cats in it. Hope it's good. She is saving it till Christmas.

So we got our Spotify Wrapped for 2025 and according to that our mum's "listening age" is 71. She is now crying in a corner. We always told her that her taste in music is rubish.

Banket Bars (more properly, banketstaafstukje) are #RecipeOfTheDay and I couldn’t love them more! Banket is the Dutch almond pastry that more usually comes in logs, but I cut them into short lengths before baking, which rather gives them a look of sweet sausage rolls. www.nigella.com/recipes/bank...

It's Saint Pancake Day and we got a bit of pancake. We saw that other Dutch cats love it. We don't. 😾 😾We just want kibble or wet food.

Is it too early for a Christmas tree? In Dutch tradition it really is too early, but the world is so dark now, we could use some light. And Casper and I need some entertainnent. What do you think?

It's getting colder and colder and mum transformed the house into a blanket paradise. 😺Warm blankets in all shapes and sizes all over the place. Looks hideous but we absolutely love it.

Our government launced a campaign to make people more aware to prepare for emergencies. To make sure they have a supply of food and water, torches, candles, a bag for evacuation etc. I might brush up my hunting skills. 🤔A fresh mouse might be very welcome if the time comes.
