We don't think Santa will stop at our house so we told our mum to treat herself to a Christmaspresent. A book or something. With cats in it. Hope it's good. She is saving it till Christmas.

So we got our Spotify Wrapped for 2025 and according to that our mum's "listening age" is 71. She is now crying in a corner. We always told her that her taste in music is rubish.

Banket Bars (more properly, banketstaafstukje) are #RecipeOfTheDay and I couldn’t love them more! Banket is the Dutch almond pastry that more usually comes in logs, but I cut them into short lengths before baking, which rather gives them a look of sweet sausage rolls. www.nigella.com/recipes/bank...

It's Saint Pancake Day and we got a bit of pancake. We saw that other Dutch cats love it. We don't. 😾 😾We just want kibble or wet food.

It's getting colder and colder and mum transformed the house into a blanket paradise. 😺Warm blankets in all shapes and sizes all over the place. Looks hideous but we absolutely love it.

Our government launced a campaign to make people more aware to prepare for emergencies. To make sure they have a supply of food and water, torches, candles, a bag for evacuation etc. I might brush up my hunting skills. 🤔A fresh mouse might be very welcome if the time comes.

Morning! The rain was so loud it kept us awake! Today is the day StNicolas arrives in the country on his steamboat which is a huge deal for kids. Live on telly and also live in many places. People will be soaked🙀. I'll stay in bed. Have a good weekend.

Fireworks will be banned in the Netherlands in 2026. So this year is the last year you can buy them and we just heard on the news that the sales are up by 30% already. 🙀 December will be fun. 😾Hiding under the table already.
