when making melody's what is your average bar length you use? 4/8 or something else?
im curious, i've been using 8's for mine. feels like even that isn't long enough sometimes.

for some strange reason i just realized that on a piano roll, the keys are marked the way they are so that, i have to think which note is which rather than having them marked on the keys.
im too old to have to use my fingers to remember the notes. 😂
