One time a dude chased me: “I need that bag! I need that bag!”
I kept pace, didn’t even glance at him, acted like he was completely invisible.
He gave up after half a block when he realized he simply did not exist in my reality.
I didn’t know I could literally ignore a mugger away, but there it is.
