This one I can’t show the front of the album cover 😅 but it contains some sort of weird meditative repeating riff of four notes. It feels like it’s trying to wipe your brain clean or something — it is super weird!

And for those who enjoy regional East coast American humor — the Swinging Erudites with “Pretentious Crapola!”

Ooh yes! 1982 gave us this, and it’s completely bizarre. It’s like… nothing I’ve ever heard before, except maybe tween much later on:

Another (literal!) fire-‘n’- brimstone gospel album by a couple of hard-livin’ hard cases, the infamous Louvin Brothers:

Yaay!!
Here’s a great one — Bible camp kids performing this decidedly ecclesiastical record in Little Rock ‘66.
Much of it is sectarian music and readings/performances, but one track features a youthful vocalist whose intonation is positively haunting!
Found in a thrift store:

I’m restless and starving for attention — so would anybody like a brief tour of my vinyl collection??

When it comes to the holidays, I’m pretty much a minimalist.
Seasons’ greetings, ye crowd!

I drew this twenty years ago (*although it wasn’t published until late 2006). It’s obviously quite crude and rudimentary, but it’s one of my all-time favorite comics pages I’ve drawn!

Here we have an original color sketch idea for Mark Pingatore’s “Horrorible Kids” trading card series, and David Gross’s concept sketch for a 2014 Garbage Pail Kids TV-themed set, “Prime Time Slime,” mocking Inside Amy Schumer (whom I think is really funny)!

This is a 1973 piece painted by John Pound for a magazine cover (actually a reprinting of a Bram Stoker short story) — and was gifted to me by someone who said he found it at a garage sale in Montana. He knew I loved Mr. Pound’s cartoon work, so he had this shipped to me several years back.

Having survived about a thousand moves, and hanging on walls within five different time zones, this is probably one of my favorite original pieces that I own!
I have this by Vermont artist James Kochalka, a big John Pound oil painting, and a sketch each by David Gross and Mark Pingatore!

On account of his 100th birthday, the Dick Van Dyke Show is playing instead of my Full House episodes.
Oh well.
Happy birthday, Mr. Van Dyke… and Happy Caturday to everyone else!

How rood!
Someone clipped away this article from 1894 before it could be scanned to microfishe! 😤
I know it’s the article I’m looking for because I can make out the enhanced type size from the M …in “Murder!”

John O’Hurley!! Actually a very generous man. He’s taken his income and successfully invested it, so that he could donate a lot of his own cash to animal welfare funds. 💕
I know someone who once worked as his personal assistant, and she still loves the guy!
