One friend’s mom and dad work at their school. Imagine knowing they likely were on campus. They were. They were safe. Both of my friends were safe. But imagine the feeling if any of them weren’t.
This year, 2 of the university shootings were at universities two of friends go to. Imagine texting “Are/were you on campus?” (Depending when you saw the news) Imagine the feeling if you didn’t see the news until hrs later. Imagine texting “Are you safe?”

I haven’t played Animal Crossing in ages and I forget I got one of the characters, Ankha, to say this.

Every time I even think about the SNAP was retroactively denied (long story about paper work for cash benefits which they didn’t need for SNAP) or other things about my current economic and housing sanitation, almost in that same moment, I get spam texts about assistance, housing, etc.

It’s so weird to me how people can watch Wicked (the movies and/or the musical) and don’t understand it’s a societal and political commentary, and, more over, don’t see the parallels and connections with things happening in the States right now.

If the decision comes down soon in Luigi Mangione’s case, finding him not guilty based on fourth and fifth amendment violations, all of celebratory merch people are going to make could still be available just in time for the holidays

Will the Luigi Mangione decision/a headline be your new lock screen when the judge finds Luigi’s 4th and 5th amendment rights were violated and has to rule
not guilty

What is your “underrated Hadestown song” (or what are the songs you feels are underrated— yes, definitely feel welcome to choose more than one!)?

Where do you think the Hadestown proshot will be released? Do you think there will be a DVD?

SNAP funds will be paid in full, proving that the USDA was always capable of paying the full November benefit.

Remember that the Trump admin chose to let people go hungry.

They chose not to fund SNAP until a court forced their hand.

They chose cruelty and pain.

BREAKING: The USDA tells states funds will be made available later today to pay November SNAP benefits in full.

It’s not like we didn’t tell you

✅trans folks (especially trans kids— sounds like REALLY targeting if you ask me) ✅queer folks ✅women and anyone with a uterus ✅folks with low income to no income (especially kids in these experiences— sounds like REALLY targeting if you ask me) ✅disabled folks

Idk about you, but this SNAP slash and how it literally starves some of the most vulnerable folks— folks with low to no income, disabled folks, and kids in these socioeconomic experiences— and the fact this can literally kill them feels like they are systematically targeted and it is intended to so.

Yes, I still wear masks, ESPECIALLY in medical settings, and admin at medical facilities, in particular, have been rude as fuck, loudly, and in annoyed tones, complaining about how they can’t hear me, some even explicitly saying because of my mask. Like, sorry this isn’t the way I wanna go.
