It's days like today the make me paranoid to go to bed. Nothing was happening when I went to bed and I wake up to an Epstein file drop. One day I'm going to wake up to a nuclear bomb going off.

My rental needed an oil change. So, I'm stuck here at a Pepper Boys for an indeterminate number of hours for them to get authorization for the voucher. Was told it could be one could be four.

I was thinking about Night in the Woods for no reason, just unbidden to my mind, and I appreciate my memory of that game is greater than my memory of my appreciation of it at the time. And I put it in my top 10 of that year.

Ever submit legal documentation, but sign in the wrong place. In my defense, I followed the sample's instruction and signed exactly where it pointed. Just, the sample was a generic sample and not specific to my situation where I had to sign on a different signature line.

At some point we stopped treating our representatives in congress as our employees and it's fucked us ever since. They're not God annointed aristocrats, they're temps.

Title mailed off to the insurance company. Keys turned in to the body shop. The car is dead. Long live the car.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

The word from all parties on my car came. It's a total write off. It's worth about $3300. And I was told by my mechanic, it's not even worth it after one of the itemized parts was the oil cooler.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Autobody shop says the car is totaled. Going to have to get a rental and wait for the insurance gears to turn.

Hit a deer on the way to work. Front of my car is demolished. Bumper hanging off, light covers gone, turn signal smashed, fram around driver side door bent in a way that holds it closed unless I muscle it.

I pulled off the craziest upset at commander tonight. Guy had eliminated the rest of the pod and shot me down to one life. The step by step I clawed my way back with incidental life gain and a recurring 7 mana artifact to destroy his threats. Damn.

The end part of a single slat of my blinds broke off last night. All I did was touch it to readjust and it fell off. Now looking up to see if its possible to buy a replacement for a single slat and replace it. My gut says no, but checking anyway.

A great many of the (wonderful) stories about Ireland's (wonderful) UBI plan for artists tend to bury if not duck completely the hard cold fact that it was funded largely by Google's billion-euro settlement of tax-evasion charges.

RUN THEM DOWN
LOOT THEM
