Yes, along with AE Van Vogt work in fiction. Dan O'Bannon was quite explicit in saying he stole from everyone. No grenades going off in a space ship in Alien though!

I would like to apologise - last year I very often strayed from actually showing B-Movies (or straight to video equivalents) in my Monday slot. Next year I'll be taking a harder line with myself. Thank you for your understanding and continued involvement. #thefilmcrowd
