For what it’s worth, the *quality* of the writing was every bit the pleasant surprise as the content was. I’m so used to clicking a link and getting something that reads like AI generated diarrhea. Engaging writing was a wonderful way to start the morning.

One of the things I really enjoyed about Rings of Power was Elrond visiting Durin and Durin being furious that he hadn’t visited in 50 years, but Elrond didn’t understand why that was a big deal.

And also because Sting reportedly pushed to lose multiple times, including his retirement match, and argued against winning the tag team titles. (And was also vocal in interviews about how grateful he was for younger guys to bust their ass and help him look good in his last run).
