I've never been fun or interesting, but I'm mostly just a project manager these days.
Mail call.

I’ve got a big backlog to work through and I’m out of practice.

One of favorite images of Captain America. Showing up in Spider-Man's moment of need when all hope is lost and just...asking if he needs a hand.

Art by Sal Buscema, Colors by Bob Sharen, letters by Joe Rosen, words by @jmdematteis.bsky.social.

This is the example of Cap I try to live by.

I don't really do RPG reviews anymore, but Outgunned is absolutely the funnest RPG I've played or ran since Savage Worlds and my favorite new RPG in years.

Session 2 of Lost Mines of Phandelver (powered by Pathfinder for Savage Worlds) with my 10 year old.

He and his goblin ally were outmatched, but his earlier kindness towards captive wolves paid off with the wolves coming in to help even the odds.

Today’s mail call: the perfect finale to the Friday the 13th saga, even though it’s fan made.

You could say I'm a fan.

Low key one of the most romantic gifts my wife has ever got me. Our first kiss happened while we were watching the original Scream. #valentinesday

Haven't gamed in four months, but I'm going to be playing in an Outgunned: World of Killers game, playing Ronin Noir, a masterless Samurai known by a hundred whispered names across the world, helping a mobster's daughter caught in a war between the mob, the yakuza, and the feds.

#WhatIveBeenReading: The original Halloween is my favorite horror movie of all time, but I do quite like Halloween 2, despite John Carpenter's disdain for it. That said, I disliked the Halloween novel, which expanded the story in all the wrong ways. It made me nervous about reading Halloween 2 1/?

#WhatIveBeenReading: "Anything For Billy" was my first book by Larry McMurtry. I read a great book on Billy's legend last year and this was an interesting fictionalized account, implied to be the "real" story. McMurtry's story felt steeped in legend, with larger than life characters, 1/?

The Twin Peaks subreddit recommended this game as "Lynchian" and I started playing it, realized it was tied to Alan Wake, which caused me to go back and finally play Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmares, and I finally finished this last night, complete with the Alan Wake DLC. 1/?

I've never been a huge fan of dwarves in my fantasy media. I like them there as a staple, but never really cared about them. Unlike most, I thought Peter Jackson did a great job about that with the Hobbit films, but the Dwarvish Dirty Dozen book series wound up being my favorite #fantasy dwarves.

Yes, I have been playing video games for 40+ years and these are my all time picks (though I did almost put Wildermyth instead of Darkest Dungeon. Absolute dead heat for that spot.

From tonight's Deadlands Noir: An adventure with no supernatural elements whatsoever, just a rush to save an innocent jazz player who got caught in the crossfire between two New York mobsters who had come to Chicago. Burned bennies trying to save him from a deathtrap and succeeded in a photo finish.
