Wow, closest I ever got to spmething like that, it's probably Skyrim at just over 200 hours and 6 different character builds. But I haven't played that in about 10 years now. Nothing came close to that as far as I'm aware.

I stood near a wall with collision detection and swung around, slowly backing away to test length. Looking atound in 3rd person, you could see the blade tip well within reach, but the swings are short and you just...miss the wall and you're right next to it. Hitboxes need a little expansion

The trend continues in this game as with others where your starting pool of hp and stamina is below minimum. But it's been good and enjoyable progression. Combat just has a little jank and some looseness to work out.
Also, the hitboxes are very short ranged. Was looking closely at that.

One of my highest stat compared to anything else is my block stat. But enemy hits still do big damage and drain stamina. But I haven't spent points into armor/defense yet, so I need to find a block perk somewhere. Also haven't raised hp.

I always think that first because it's more pleasant than remembering she exists.
