This is not hyperbole. You are mistaken if you think you can keep your head down and ride this out. The historical analogy is apt and we are running out of time. At there very least, I want my grandson to grow up knowing that at least I tried. What is your legacy going to be?
Dear American citizens, whatever you wish more German citizens would have done in 1933, do that now.
I'm sure this will surprise precisely no one, but really? Talk about a ham-handed cover up!

Stephen Miller to Anderson regarding the latter's ability to make a subject look good (or not): “You know, you have a lot of power in the discretion you use to be kind to people.”

Anderson's response: "And I looked at him and I said, 'You know, you do, too.'"

His Vanity Fair photos of Trumpworld blew up online. We called to talk.
Christopher Anderson, who photographed Trump’s team at the White House for Vanity Fair, defends his unvarnished — and extreme — close-ups.

The fact that not a single reporter tells Mike Johnson “let me read it for you” or “here it is” when he claims he hasn’t seen or doesn’t know a thing about the psychotic ramblings of the head of state is not only a dereliction of journalistic duty, but a display of pure cowardice.

The historical pattern is clear--this is where Trump's and ICE are headed if we don't put a stop to it. Many will call this hyperbola and it will be the same people who mocked those us warned of Trump being a threat to democracy.

"Things Happen". Yeah, and that "Thing" that happened was the guy sitting next to me had Khashoggi murdered, dismembered and stuffed into a suitcase for writing things about him that he didn't like. (At least my SIL was rewarded w/ a 2B investment from the Saudi's for it, so it wasn't all bad.)
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Look, we all know what this is about, but sure, go ahead and investigate Dems implicated by Epstein docs and prosecute them if criminal evidence is found - but ONLY if R's are investigated with the same zeal the law is applied equally. But, frankly, that seems _highly_ doubtful under current DOJ.
Do republicans yelling at us about Bill Clinton realize most of us were children during his administration and legally prohibited from voting? lol

This is supposed to be some kind of gotcha? If he did bad things throw him in jail. I do not have Bill Clinton flags in my boat. (I do not have a boat).

WAPO once again struggles to create the impression of equivalence between libs and conservatives. One uses police state tactics to imprison and even murder people indiscriminately. The other often favors using state action to achieve social justice.

Yeah, you and the other patriotic heroes who voted with you will go down in history -- just like the patriotic heroes who voted for the Compromise of 1850 that granted slave holders everything they wished for in order to "Save the Union!" And we all know how that turned out. Congratulations!
