I just watched a press conference by the head of ice. To summarize he was upset that ice agents were getting harassed in their personal time. Guys, this is not okay. We need to do more. These people are destroying democracy.

An argument people often use as an anti immigrant argument is that America can’t support them. America is like a charity dinner, you should RSVP but if someone shows up and wants to help you let them help! You tell the kitchen to make more, it pays off. It does not say RSVP on the Statue of Liberty!

Great that we are protecting students but we have bigger fish to fry. Address the elephant in the room before you address the ant. Don’t be a pushover and be a senator for the people.
Last year we passed bipartisan legislation to improve hazing prevention efforts and keep students safe on college campuses. Great to celebrate that victory today with @mcbath.house.gov and the advocates who made it happen.
