The guy who told a baby to leave his rally b/c it was crying? The guy who dumped shit on his citizens in a fictional video? How could an upstanding guy like that try to withhold SNAP so that he can take away health care subsidies?

So I’m on Ch 14 of The Woman in white and so far it’s a WWF-style, barn-burning, filth-reading takedown of patriarchy and I recommend it.

I couldn’t find an audiobook version in my libraries but it’s free on Audible; I’m reading this version:

My mom recently found a dog in her yard and took it to the shelter (we already have so many animals in our family and they seem to attract others) so I was looking at the site to see if he’d been registered for adoption yet, and I found this:

I think you’d like it if you liked one of the above books, Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale duology, other realistic post-apocalyptic novels. It’s pretty short.

If you can’t sleep because you’re sad, that’s normal. If you sleep too much because you’re sad, that’s normal. There’s no “ideal” grief. There’s no “you move through 5 stages and you’re done.”

I really like this book — the audiobook reader is very soothing.

This post is why, when people say “am I really a writer when I’m not writing?! I haven’t written in weeks?!!” I’m like, chill. You’re always a writer, if you’re a writer, even when you haven’t written in years.

They are soooo ridiculous.

In the cities currently occupied by ICE and the military, I understand being afraid. But if you’re a white person, you should be laughing at them (and not fucking voting for them what is wrong with you)
