If I had the money I would buy a church and keep it open 24/7. Nothing for sale unless I put a book store together in a corner, but just a place to hang out and pray. My institutional church would be like “is this for us” and I would be like “no no no this is my church.”

I do genuinely wish that one of the churches nearby were open right now though. When I was a kid u could find churches open 24/7 to the public to just hang out at a whole lot more easily than you can today.

Anti-church “spiritual but not religious” people pmo so bad. “You can pray anywhere” no duh!! I can also sleep anywhere too but I still prefer to do that inside a place designed for doing specifically that at least somewhat comfortably.

I just got back from visiting a monastery in Pennsylvania where I was getting up at 3am to go to church - now look at me lol

just a tremendous irony here, given that adoptees are given fabricated documents making them “as if born” to their adopters, but intercountry adoptees do not have birthright citizenship. 🥚
did you know that intercountry #adoptees born before 1983 have no guarantee of US citizenship, and instead are treated as immigrants who must obtain citizenship through naturalization? That they are subject to deportation if they have committed a crime or are deemed to be in the US “illegally?”
