It’s not his personal safety he’s worried about. The ‘safety’ of his arguments and beliefs, however, would likely be torn apart!
I think it very likely that Richard Tice MP could safely debate Green leadership candidate Zack Polanski on stage at Glastonbury. (He might choose not to do so for many reasons). Telling newspapers that his team felt it wouldn't be safe seems v sketchy evidence indeed that it wouldn't be safe
