I've been working on a game pitch and story dear to me, "ENGINE ANGEL", with the team at Ivy Road!

This kind of thing is so… baffling to me. It’s an algorithmic problem with Reddit but it’s also just frustrating that cosplay is seen as inherently sexual or a pipeline to pornography, AND held to a double standard that illustrated fanart isn’t.
A Reddit post banning cosplay posts from /r/ff7rebirth, stating: “Here at FF7Rebirth, we want this to be a safe space for all eyes. Therefore, no cosplay. To add some context. Many younger eyes view r/FF7Rebirth. The game is rated T for teen, so many eyes could end up landing here. Many of them being underage. To keep from any situations that lead to these younger eyes visiting any NSFW subs resulting from a "cosplay" post here. We have decided to not allow cosplay at all from this point forward. The game again is rated T for teen, not M for mature. There are plenty of other subreddits for content like this, we would like to keep this one a safe place for all eyes to talk about, learn, and educate one another about the FF7 Rebirth game.
