I suggest to Mrs B that her new firefighter show '911 Nashville' will likely include firecrackers.

Does anyone know what sort of #mushrooms these are? Internet says they're golden chanterelles, but I'd rather be certain than dead.

Mrs B put this Xmas film on yesterday. It features a LOT of 'adorable' little cherubs singing at the very tops of their wee voices, so I'm making enquiries with the European Court of Human Rights and researching the Geneva Conventions.

Occultist Aleister Crowley's supposedly haunted old pad has a gift shop these days, where you can buy Abramelin ritual candles and fire-damaged bits of the building. I'm no Jimmy Page, but I can't help feeling that's not a great idea.

I'm aware that there are a million things to watch on all the platforms, but I'm choosing to watch The Decameron again because: 1. I can't decide on anything else. 2. It's bloody brilliant. 3. Tanya Reynolds, comic genius.

Cameron Crowe's 'The Uncool' might be the finest book I've ever read about music. Probably because it's also about so much more. Like being washed-up at 21.

Patti Smith has been outed as a wrong 'un in autobiographies by Debbie Harry and Chris Frantz and in Andy Warhol's diaries. These stories should be on BBC News this week - purely for balance, of course.

I asked Google a question. This is a pic of its answer.

Nice try, AI. However, the text isn't The Hanging Garden by Ian Rankin. It's Uncle Fred Flits By by P.G. Wodehouse.

Which is pretty much as wrong as it could possibly could be.

I recommend this site. You know, if you like reading proper content by people who can actually write. (Benjamin Dreyer tells us off for using 'actually', but in this instance ... well, bollocks to he.)
There's a new thing called Track Record. No adverts. Free. No clickbait. Just decent writing about sport, music and entertainment. I've done a bit about shortarse geniuses, and the increasing size, and power, of Premier League players. Give it a go.
