Tory front benches equally furious at a tax on mansions and hundreds of thousands of kids being pulled out of poverty. Shameful stuff.

Why use this terminology?
Because Sturmabteilung. That’s why.

If your best argument against brown people not being British is the Dog/Horse in a stable argument, I can't debate you because I'd need to give you a years worth of education on how species work to get you to a point where you'd even understand why I'd just call you a cunt anyway.

@cyclingweekly.com Posted with no comment other than that Operation Crackdown have been informed - This was the third of 3 similar, increasingly aggressive manoeuvres in less than 15 seconds.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social - Hitler’s propaganda appealed primarily to the limbic system (emotions, fear, tribal identity).
- The prefrontal cortex, which could critically evaluate those claims, wasn’t fully mature in younger audiences — making them more susceptible.

Back in the 90s I worked in an old apartment block in Lambeth by the river that had been re-purposed as an Office HQ. There were several of these in small closets along the corridor on each of the floors. IYKYK. Come on you detectives out there.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Well done on subtly dealing with the bigot who thinks the footballification of Homeless v Asylum Seekers is the answer to a fiscal hole in the billions.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social In the early 1970s, 'British Constitution' was a formal subject in some grammar school curricula, often taught as part of GCE O-Level or A-Level Government or General Studies. It focused on the structure, principles, and institutions of UK governance. It wouldn't go amiss.

Well that’s me buggered then. I can expect flagshaggers gathering outside my house shouting for the deportation of all ‘Williams’ and shoving a burning bin against my door.
That’s how generalisation works in the heads of the hard-of-thinking isn’t it?

This government have been fucking awful about communicating success, so that's bad enough. I thought ignoring Reform was the right decision in the early days. Reform have been brilliant with their Stochastic Terrorism comms for a year now. It's time to get some fucking balls and start fighting back
Christ above. These pitiful fucking cowards.
No10 spokesman not prepared to criticise anything about Farage speech today.

Not his description of "invasion", not his prediction that the UK on brink of civil war, not plans to pay the Taliban or Iran to take back migrants, or indeed to rule out doing so themselves.

Balls of Steel those Lasses. They never give up. Mental strength throughout that whole set-up must be immense.

Can we get Tuchel, Barry and the FA to sit in on Weigman’s Lessons Learned Workshop?

Lee Anderson is proud of his jacket. He thinks it’s a Union Jack. Can you spot the mistake the Manufacturer has made? Did he get it from Temu?

The only thing I dislike about where I live, on a Main Road, is having to listen to the, I’m sure illegally, souped up exhausts of the brain dead wankers who think earsplitting decibels equate to the size their penis will be perceived to be, by… well who?

New syndrome on Threads and Twitter: I've called it Dictionary Dunning-Kruger (or Lexirage). It's when folks throw tantrums at Wordle or Connexions because a valid word isn't in their personal vocab. Not misspelled, not fake—just unfamiliar. Apparently if they don’t know it, it doesn’t exist.

One year ago today, on 4th July, we went to the polls.

We ended the disaster that 14 years of Tory rule had brought on us.

Steadily, things are improving.

You don't have to like EVERYTHING the Labour government does, but they are doing SO MUCH to improve our country.

And I am grateful for that!

154 years ago - Trade Union Act - June 29th 1871

Unions were now recognised as lawful associations. Prior to this, they were often treated as criminal conspiracies under common law.

Why working people complain about others protesting freely, about anything, is a total enigma to me.
