Everyone knows the nursery rhyme, "Ride a Cock Horse, to Banbury Cross, to see a Fine Lady upon a white horse", but there's massess of history to the little piece of doggerel.

Who’s Riding to Which Cross? - The Banburian
Most people agree “Banbury Cross” refers to the High Cross as it was the most centrally located but no one is sure - and there are lots of questions.
