Satire is my business. NY Times bestselling author of 19 novels, including Lamb, Fool, Noir, Razzmatazz, and Anima Rising (released May 2025).
I'm not a politician. I don't have to have a plan or be competent at political strategy. It's not my job. It's their job. And a majority of Democratic legislators agree with me.

I'm very fucking good at my job. In this context, I'm a voter.

My plan was to not cave. Yes I shared it.

Sounds like the "single payer" lightbulb so wants to come on, but they just can't let it.

Westfield Center in downtown San Francisco is mostly vacant, too, but not because of crime. Because of Amazon. How is he in commercial real estate and not know this? Then again, he's president and doesn't understand how tarriffs or buying groceries works.

To be fair, those who voted for this aren't making this claim. It's the pundits.
November 11, 2025 at 5:15 AM
It's okay to be pissed off, though, right?
November 11, 2025 at 5:14 AM
You're an idiot.

He's 84.

this is incoherent
November 11, 2025 at 4:20 AM
Exactly!

I was posting live during the open of his show tonight. He was justifying the 8 democrats caving in the senate. Saying how hard their job is and how we just couldn't know.

What is your interest in protecting Chuck Schumer? Doesn't matter, I'm going to block you. But really, it's unseemly.
November 11, 2025 at 4:13 AM
Well said.

Strangely enough, I can focus on several things at a time. This doesn't happen with competent leadership. Your team keeps losing, you fire the coach.
November 11, 2025 at 3:50 AM
He's the Democratic leader in the senate. Who do you think picked the 8? He knew he couldn't survive a "yes" vote so he didn't. He had everything to do with it.

WE aren't going to do any of that. It's done. The progressive wing had finally started to coalesce with the rest of the party because of Mamdani. EVERYONE turned out for No Kings 2.

But the leadership fucked us. It's not a choice. I'm not making it up. I saw a lot of people going independent today.

He's dead to me. I don't want to hear about tradition in the august chamber. They knew what their constituency wanted and they caved.

The courts had ordered the President to pay SNAP in full. If he refused, then you had the fight that is inevitable. If you're not there to fight, go home.

It's not petty to feel betrayed by people you put in office and supported. They squandered the greatest amount of political capital and momentum the party has had since Obama. The GOP were on their heels, losing daily.

We need new leadership. That's not petty, that's urgent.
November 11, 2025 at 3:21 AM
The your caucus shouldn't have caved. I'm ashamed you all.
November 11, 2025 at 2:45 AM
I'm not the one you need to make the case for. I'm just reporting what I've seen today, which is a bunch of people saying they are done with the Democratic party over this. That creates Nader and Stein voters.
