Just got back from a 2 week road trip to move my kid to college. I got to see 6 national parks, and just like that I remember why I love this place.

I'm teaching my young adult who doesn't drive to use instacart. Someone please tell me what would make a person decide that a giant log of mozzarella, that costs 3 times as much as the requested item, is a good substitute for a small amount of grated parmesan.

I’m feeling we bit of despair at how quickly my fellow county-folk got from “eggs are expensive” to concentration camp fan merch. So, I took up birding to an obsessive level, and I can ponder our doom while standing quietly in a meadow with cool field glasses.

I decided to jump back into art this summer by learning something new: watercolor. This is the first discipline I've tried where improvising with tools/materials is a real detriment. If you try water color just splurge for the good paper on day 1.

Just turned in what I hope is a final draft of my thesis. It's a bit wordy. Every time I read it I found more typos, so there are probably more still lurking. I STILL feel like the organization is a bit off in an undefined way.
However, I did not use AI. Not a wee bit. Not for a hint. Not at all.
