Sure, I’ve raised 2 children to (very nearly) adulthood, cared for multiple dogs for up to 15 years and had many successful veggie gardens. However, for the first time in my 50+ years I kept house plants alive for a FULL YEAR!

In the first week of Dec I thought was in the final push to complete my thesis. Then I got a call from the school nurse. My kid has pneumonia. I got sick immediately. My husband left town. My MIL arrived. Holidays. Now I have to perform archeology on my desk to remember where I was.

First needlepoint project in about 20 years. The stitches aren’t even and the freehand lettering is awkward, but it was fun.
