Today was a particularly shameful day for Trump, MAGA, and the people who so gleefully and dutifully defend the indefensible. And that is saying something, because we’ve had so many of these days already. Shame on these people.

There is absolutely no explanation as to why the White House would call releasing the Epstein Files a “hostile act” 3 weeks ago other than that he is in them. He thinks he’s distracted you from this. He hasn’t. Keep demanding their release.

My gut sense on the post-Kirk fallout: MAGA has overplayed its hand. People were ready to empathize with them over this, then they snapped, again. Most see them for what they are: whining, petulant babies who can’t handle the adult world.

Politicians who cannot stomach being the subject of late night comedy jokes need to find another line of work. This has been what late night TV is for generations. Trump is such a soft, fragile, little snowflake.
