I feel a little better about myself in light of this new trend of YouTubers putting 'please click this video it's not boring it's interesting I swear please click it' in their thumbnails because it reminds me that internet microcelebrites can be sniveling little bitches too

YouTubers will swear up and down that *this* anime finally cracked the comedy code, that it is the single funniest thing ever to put to television, and that it will leave you gasping for air, and it's just an anime doing the same annoying anime tropes but louder and with a self-aware narrator.

In retrospect saying "we're putting whoever is responsible for Kirk's shooting on death row no exceptions" isn't a very good way to get your lead suspect to cooperate.

Do youtubers write purposeful mispronunciations into their scripts? It's becoming a trend for them to bungle some pronunciation and then spend 20 seconds apologising about it instead of just... editing it out?

I like when people introduce themselves in comments sections like "as an american..." or "as a man..." guys you're only meant to do that if you're like an astronaut or a cancer patient or some shit.

I like anime because the main character will spend all season building up reasons to fight the big bad and then when the big bad comes they spend half their battle internally monologing about their motivations for fighting as if that hasn't already been established by 11 fuCKING EPISODES
