Keep in mind that the rule isn't really aimed at the teacher. Teachers usually will do the right thing by their students. No one becomes a teacher because they hate kids.

My favorite thing about Bluesky so far? In the two weeks I have been here, I haven't once had to tell someone they owed their teachers a heartfelt apology for wasting their precious time. Back on the other place, it was almost a daily goddamn ritual.

Well, just found that the moderators auto blocked some replies to my post, apparently due to content violation. A marked difference from the former place, where the admins would undo your attempts to block assholes in an endless, frustrating cycle.

I first joined the other site years ago when Mythbusters was running a competition. I didn't win, but I got to follow a few of the cast members and enjoyed it. Also found other people whose work I admired and followed them, as well. I didn't post much, as I don't do a lot of interesting things.
