It’s my opinion that humanitarian and musical genius Dolly Parton (as well as Chef José Andrés) deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. tucson.com/life-enterta...

It said “betrothals”. I initially read “brothels”. Now, @theradr.bsky.social, I will have to read it like a תלמיד טוב.

Trump just wants the world of 1955 south Queens. You know, full of “regular” people. None of that exotic stuff. You get to torture the kids who are different in any way. And wealth keeps you from getting called on anything. Ever.

He’s never grown out of that. Or anything else, for that matter.

Missouri's AG Andrew Bailey is suing Starbucks, arguing that its workforce is too "female" and "non-white" and as a result Missouri consumers “pay higher prices and wait longer for goods and services" because its workforce is "less qualified"

This is a brazenly racist and sexist lawsuit.

You must understand that in the financial services industry—not only the big banks, but also the tech platforms that want to replace the big banks—there is no greater danger than a federal agency empowered to tell them, “no, you can’t steal from your customers, actually”
The Trump-Musk Presidency is killing the CFPB
Just as Elon Musk's X pushes into financial services, the agency responsible for protecting citizens from such companies is under threat.

If he’s got the time to sue, he’s got the time to answer indictments. And he should not be able to quash them.

The game may have been hoops, but it looks like we’re all going to need skates and sticks now.

And probably helmets. Good ones.

Hey, while we're talking about erasing history:

In 1949 the US military held its first Aeriel Gunnery Competition, later known as "Top Gun."

The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen.

So they refused to announce a winner🤡

We shall resist.
We shall not normalize.

And we shall pay attention for no more than about forty five seconds at a time because it’s all we can stand and we need to persist.

I’m a news junkie. But now I just can’t. I can do sports. I can do weather. And I can do some tech.

But I cannot go down the rabbit hole of “why didn’t anybody *do* something?” At least not today.

When did it turn? The moment they decided to take “don’t be evil” off the wall. It was an acceptance of the idea that the underlying business infrastructure was such that “evil” was a fucking requirement.
