I prefer that people do good because it’s the right moral ethical legal thing to do rather than as a reward that benefits only them. This is humanism in a nutshell. Everything else is nonsense designed by men to control others.

I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.

In sixth grade I used the word "stolid" in a paper and my teacher marked it as a spelling error, then accused me of cheating when I tried to argue, so I like to put it into each of my books as a cute little fuck you to that lady.
