I have a group of Trek friends that are predominately male, but within this group, one of them has a wife who is a Trek fan, and I made a friend at STLV 2024 who is female who LOOOOVES Trek. This diversity is what makes Star Trek and the fan base so exciting.

Jan 6th WAS NOT an expression of free speech. It was inciting violence. Jimmy Kimmel did no such thing with his words. This is strictly an act of fascist dictatorship.

Statements should be followed by action, otherwise those words mean nothing especially with what happened to Jimmy Kimmel. Elected officials really need to start stepping up and put themselves out there because I'm not sure about others out there, but I'm not forgetting about midterm elections.

I know I'm late, but recently jumped on the K-Pop Demon Hunters Bandwagon and besides the hit song "Golden," I think that "It's Going Down" should be considered a club anthem and "This is What it Sounds Like" is synonymous with the experience growing up to be an Asian.

On her birthday, remembering Patti Yasutake, Nurse Alyssa Ogawa on #StarTrekTNG and in 2 #StarTrek movies. She said she was happily surprised to be called back after doing "Future Imperfect." She died of cancer last year; Robert Beltran hosted a special tribute to her at STLV this year.

Honestly,I still can't fathom people being a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and then going out buying the Harry Potter merchandise, going to theme parks, events, etc. Have some of y'all forgotten the creators stance on that population or are you ok with cognitive dissonance?

I miss Star Trek #LowerDecks and #Prodigy. Two animated shows of this current generation's Trek and deeply ingrained with the love and lore that Trek has had from the 60s.
