Tried to call in. You were great Duane! Of course, we didn't see any of this uproar from the Alberta government under the UCP when Landon Johnston (now the ward 14 councillor in Calgary) was leading the petition to try to recall (now former mayor) Jyoti Gondek. Recall for thee, but not for me...

That is only $0.542 billion, and the estimates for damage from Hurricane Melissa for just Jamaica alone are said to be ⅓ of Jamaica's GDP, so approximately $6-7 billion. This is the climate crisis fully manifesting, in real-time, in Jamaica. COP30 talks on climate financing are now imperative. 2/2

Fmr Councillor Richard Pootmans regularly took transit. Hon. @jceci.bsky.social, when he was a city councillor used transit too. He's my neighbour, so we'd both be on the route 1 (Bowness/ Forest Lawn). Yes, former Premier @rachelnotley.bsky.social ran on the Bow River Pathway in Inglewood, often.
