Surprise anthology release today!
Scott's planet is a shared world anthology about a colony abandoned on a world still in its Carboniferous period. That means giant bugs, no real trees, and a lot of wacky biology to play with.

Here is another sculpture in the same area. I'm not sure the mushrooms are intentional, but they certainly add to the pieces.

Veldt is described as an "enjoyable daily raw Puer" and I would certainly agree! Smooth and barely astringent with a strong floral flavor. Easy to sip with strong flavor throughout a long session. I got 12 steeps and easily could have gone longer.

Today's tea is a 2022 Veldt from White2tea while scheduling #writingabtwriting posts. I picked up the coin bag from them and I'm really happy with the selection and variety, though I wish it came with an explainer on the varieties they included. But I'm having fun trying them all.

OMG. Thank you for your help. I double checked the interior and the nut is nowhere to be seen. But I can do a new unit entirely. Off to the market I go.

Ok Bluesky, help me sleep because Google is getting me nowhere and I have places to be tomorrow.

Is the washer/bolt I need to fix this a standard part or do I need to disassemble my toilet tomorrow and haul this bit to the hardware store?

Today's tea is a sample of Bing Dao Ancient Tree Raw Pu-erh from Teavivre. A bit more astringency than I prefer but good flavor.

Today's tea is more of the 2025 Dragonwell. As I look at my tray I can't help but think of the wonderful mashup of culture I have here. The tea and brewing method are from China, the cup is from Iceland, the treat is from a Palestinian restaurant up the road, the plate is antique German. 🍵 🫖 #teasky

I cannot recommend the joy of a grumpy koala enough.

So after three tutorials and a bit of practice I finally got up the nerve to try reverse painting on my nail stamps. Aside from some smudges I think they are just the thing for the first week of school. If they last that long.
