Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Trump's inaugural fund is on track to rake in over $200M in donations by January 20th.

Some of the biggest donors are corporations facing federal investigations — including Amazon, Meta, and Goldman Sachs.

This is what legalized corruption looks like.

Mike Johnson is threatening to condition California wildfire aid to raising the debt ceiling, which would pave the way for another round of deficit-spiking tax cuts for the wealthy.

Playing politics with people's lives to make your donors richer is reprehensible.

Jeff Bezos' Washington Post editorial board has endorsed Pam Bondi as a "qualified" and "serious" pick for Attorney General.

Nowhere in the endorsement did they mention that she's a former Amazon lobbyist.

Billionaire control of our media is a threat to democracy.

If this year taught us anything, it's that:

1) Workers keep America going, not billionaires.
2) Corporate profits don't trickle down to workers.
3) Poverty is a policy choice.
4) Health care is a human right.
5) Strikes work.

I hope we act on these lessons in the new year.
