Everyone's parsing the Zizians as AI doomers, but they're really much weirder than that - they were *adjacent to* the AI doomers but really cooked their brains on radical veganism and acausal decision theory
Only just learning about this now -- I guess for a while people have predicted that the AI doomer rationalist crowd would go violent, so its not surprising in some sense. Still though, odd times!

Look. Look. It's not fascist, ok? It's just an anime celebrating the romantic self assertion of a Germanic people who must struggle against the enemy within as well as external monstrous subhumans, where the only hope for salvation is in disciplined militarism overcoming treacherous decadent elites.
