Don't fall for the wonder mushroom fad. It's dangerous if you have several chronic health conditions.

Taking one of the most commonly used mushrooms, lion's mane, it can interact with several common medications like those for type 2 diabetes, SSRI's, anticoagulants and blood pressure meds...

Second scary measles thought of the day-ish. There is also a case in Maimi... a city that sees a lot of tourism and has a large cruise ship port.

There is a confirmed case of measles in Montgomery County, PA. While the other outbreaks have been in more rural areas, this county is right next to Philadelphia and holds many of the cities suburbs.

This one case has the potential to infect a lot of people.

PSA: @tacobell.bsky.social greatly improved the quality of their food in the late 00s/early 10s. You're not 💩ing your brains out after you eat it because the food is bad. You're 💩ing your brains out because you've probably eaten more fiber in a meal than you do in 3 days. At least.

Reorginizing your inventory in a way that makes perfect sense then coming back a couple of days later and not being able to fine a 🤬 thing.

Support and celebrate other people because trying to take away someone's shine won't add to yours, but adding to other's makes the whole world brighter.

I'm apparently feeling philosophical today...

Another thought on the CA fires. We're seeing videos of people who's houses survived and are finding their pets and other statistical improbabilities/miracles. But we need to remember that these stories in and of themselves are a special kind of trauma.

There are a lot of other people talking shit about the rich about feeling upset because they lost their homes. While I'm 100% "The rich are sociopathic hoarders of wealth that we need to tax the hell out of to start to fix our economy," we all need to remember they're people first.

@safety.bsky.app the only thing a truly tolerant society cannot tolerate is intolerance. First Amendment protections don't apply between private companies and citizens so you're good. And your users want him out because he is a threat to many of us. Please do the brave thing.

People aren't joyful about the death of a man. We don't know him enough where there's anything that would endear him to us.

We're joyful about the death of what has become a symbol of corporate greed & the knowledge that CEOs are afraid they may face repercussions for the suffering they profit from

Don't use ANY ovulation tracking app.
The ovulation tracking app, "Ovia", now mandates you identify what state you live in. Delete immediately and warn anyone who might need to know.

I wasn't too upset when I heard that the #iphone16 came with a power cord but no power brick. There are enough of them lying around the house that I don't need a new one.

No one said that the greedy assholes at #Apple included a USB-C to USB-C cord that is incompatable with our old power bricks.

If you're flying this holiday weekend, the airlines might try to pull one over on you.

According to a new report, five major airlines made $12.4 BILLION from seat selection fees in just five years.

This nickel-and-diming is just one reason why flying has become so miserable.
