Plodding through Slow Horses, unentertained and unenlightened by Lamb's constant profanity. Otherwise ok, but why the saturation of expletives in crime shows on HBO, Netflix, Apple, etc? Anything, overdone, loses impact and becomes dull. Poor writer's crutch for a character's emotion or vocabulary?

Reminded of GE's Jeff Immelt, who flew with two jets, one as backup, in case the other developed a problem. The problem is one's perceived irreplaceability. Noem surely is not.
