(2) the groom was a beloved childhood/family friend. But the wedding guests as a whole, were men who had acquired wealth & position. Think Kushner. Something about the venue and the machers among us, made me decide to get out of this town. In my mind, the wedding was pivotal. Now they’re everywhere.

When I post with my thoughts nobody sees then. Only when I reply do I interact. But in mood to post today even if unread. I left NYC in 1989. It was just for a couple of years but I didn’t move back. Among many reasons, one was a wedding id attended at the top of a midtown office building. (1)
