Solo dev doing the full workflow, but down for some collaboration. Mainly showcasing Nova Catalyst, my 2D MOBA with a scrappy, fighting game feel.
In hindsight it does kinda give a cave vibe which isn't what I'm going for, but whatever. It'll do for now.

The hairless cyborg look it pretty good honestly, but not what I was going for. The last version still isn't quite what I was going for either, but perfect is the enemy of done. I've also done some rushed animations, and I see how this can be time-consuming. But I knew what I was getting myself into

In the future, I have my work cut out for me. I've been drawing an assassin character's animations. I'll replace the tiles with full terrain sprites. Implement the level's unit and structure spawning logic. I was hoping to have a minimum viable project, but I also wanted a name for friends to lookup

I got a similar affect when trying to max out my altitude. Can I DM you the error message?

No but seriously, please send help. I can't go a day without doing something for my game. Like, I have stuff to do IRL, but I'm addicted to adding features.

That looks pretty cool but I hope you know the name Surf's Up is already an established IP.

Oh and they could have special beacons/lights for aircraft telemetry and safety, like little radio towers. Kinda like those bright markers on power lines that cross over valleys.

Maybe the underside buildings wouldn't be shaped the same and wouldn't have so many lit windows. They could taper down to a point, suggesting that would be sturdier if damaged in combat. Then more industrial complexes on the underside. And a grid of structural strips from roof to roof.

Last I visited the project, I was trying my hand at multiplication and bitshifting, wanting to actually program some arrays by integer index, instead of just incrementing over addresses.
