My newest #poetry collection, Love Letter to Loneliness, will be released tomorrow. As is the usual now, it'll be free on my itch.io page and Ko-Fi store. There should also be a physical version available on Amazon... I think. Maybe. Don't hold your breath just yet.
Did you know there's a never-before-seen #microfiction #horror story on my website? If you're looking to kill about a minute yet be left with a pit in your stomach for the rest of the day, give it a look!

I think I'm ready to share this now. For the past couple of weeks, I've been slowly putting together a little project for my website that I like to call a non-linear mosaic story. If you're interested in dark fantasy stuff, you can check it out here.

Very much so, yes. The pedestal that some people put AI on makes it seem like a god they're worshipping. That observation led me to explore the concept of a dystopia with AI at its center, and what would happen if that AI developed an ego.

There's an instance of wildlife and a stray cat. Pets in this story's universe are rare, primarily due to economic factors with most people living in or just above poverty. Aside from sanctuaries or underdeveloped areas, there just aren't many animals left.

It's day 9 of 21 Days of #PitchDis! Today’s prompt - are there any animals/pets in your story? Make sure to include the #PitchDis hashtag in your post and search the hashtag to find others.

I'm definitely an overwriter. In the few instances of submissions I've done, I've always had to painstakingly go through the manuscripts and cut words until I just barely managed to get under the limit.

Day 8 of 21 Days of #PitchDis! Today’s prompt asks - do you usually overwrite and have to cut words, or underwrite and have to add words? Make sure to include the #PitchDis hashtag in your post and search the hashtag to find others.

I'm a pantser through and through.
I have my main characters and a scene or two I wanna hit at most. I tend to have an end in mind, though it can change. The destination isn't hewn in stone if the journey ends up going somewhere else.

I'm definitely a pantser.

I love getting a fantastic idea, feel the rush of excitement and dive into the story with absolutely no clue where I might wind up.

I don't exactly have a favorite writing spot, no. My life's a little chaotic, so I just try to get some writing in whenever and wherever I can. I abandoned any pretense of a schedule or idealized writing scenario long ago.

I've always been a pantser. Sometimes I know where I want my stories to end up, but there are fun little surprises for everyone along the way, including me.

A bit about the main character of the book..

She's a champion bull rider, and owns her own small ranch.
She has three dairy cows she sometimes hand milks to help with her mental health. All three are named off the characters from "Golden Girls"🩷

I checked out the hotel suite. Peered into cupboards. Pressed buttons. It looked like a suite in any London hotel. No microgravity. No round windows or built-in furniture. Not even a steam-shower.
Why come all the way to the moon and have rooms that look exactly the same as home?

one thing I always return to is homecoming, particularly the reality of not being able to go home or the possibility that home has changed without you around. as someone who struggles to identify where I’m “from,” it helps to explore how characters might deal with that

Resilience is probably the most common theme in my books.
Doing everything you must to survive. No matter what you’re up against.

Simmons is the zealous leader of the "Children of Calypso" group. He upholds their practices without question and never turns away a prospective new member. But he may be a little too good at what be does, as he begins to draw the attention of others who would sooner dismantle his congregation.

My stories typically center around a god-like being, either in the form of a typical eldritch deity or, more recently, man-made entities that come to be worshipped as gods. When those aren't the focus, it's usually some form of obsession.

I've written off and on since I was about 13 years old. I'd always enjoyed escaping to other worlds, and I found that creating those worlds myself was much more fun. But it wasn't until a couple years ago that I really took writing seriously, as in actually seeing projects through.
